The Maysles Institute's On Our Side youth program is designed to address the communication barriers in the lives of children with incarcerated parents, by teaching them documentary video production skills.

DOCUMENTARY FILM INTERNSHIP

Maysles Films, Inc. is accepting applications from college students and graduates for its documentary film internship program. Interns work on a part-time, minimum 2 days/week basis for three to five months and receive a small stipend to cover travel and lunch. Interns will gain practical experience in editing, research, production, and the general workings of a small independent documentary film company and its nonprofit arm, Maysles Institute. Each intern is encouraged to read widely, generate ideas and approach problems creatively.
